VECHAIN / CONSUMER PRODUCT
A wallet is only useful if people have a reason to use it.
I led the product work to take VeWorld from a new wallet to a consumer product with an integrated ecosystem. The work covered launch sequencing, self-custody, onboarding, and repeat use.

01 / THE PROBLEM
What needed to change.
A wallet needed to keep users in control of their assets while making everyday actions easy. We also needed early feedback before committing to a full mobile product.
02 / THE WORK
Decisions and delivery.
Start with the extension
We launched a browser extension before mobile. This gave the team an earlier release to learn from while the mobile product developed.
Separate custody from convenience
Core wallet functions stayed independent of a backend. We added services for transaction history and portfolio indexing to make the product easier to use.
Give users a reason to return
An acquisition campaign brought downloads, but many people claimed rewards and left. We integrated VeBetter apps and participation into the wallet to support continued use.
03 / THE RESULT
5M+ downloads
VeWorld reached more than 5 million downloads. The growth also exposed a useful distinction: an install does not demonstrate ongoing use. Retention became a product priority.
Cumulative downloads reported in the portfolio. This is not a measure of active users.
04 / REFLECTION
Launch sequencing and distribution matter, but the product still needs to earn the next visit.
